Weather Authority: Friday rain to lead into unsettled weekend

The first official Friday of summer will be a rainy one for the Philadelphia area as we head into an unsettled weekend.

We're tracking rain across the region Friday with showers expected through the day. We're looking at highs in the 70s. Those showers will be followed by a warm front that will bring temps back into the 80s on Saturday.

Saturday is expected to bring more rain and the potential for some thunderstorms with highs in the mid-80s. The good news is, Saturday is not expected to be a complete washout.

Sunday is expected to bring more sun, and a smaller risk of some storms. Sunday will bring a high of 88 degrees.
