PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - The Philadelphia area is slated for a windy but mild New Year's Day.

A Wind Advisory is in effect for counties in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware from 7 a.m. through noon Tuesday.

A mix of clouds and sun are expected, with gusty winds diminishing during the afternoon. Temperatures are also expected to drop a few degrees.

The region is forecasted to stay cooler in the coming days, with highs in the mid-40s.
