Weather Authority: Rainy, windy weekend

The Philadelphia area is slated for a wet and windy weekend with warmer-than-usual temperatures.

A mix of clouds and sun Saturday will give way to rain showers, which will evolve into a more steady rain overnight.

Sunday is expected to be cloudy with occasional rain, mainly in the morning. Winds will increase in the afternoon, and temperatures will reach nearly 60 degrees.

A High Wind Watch will be in effect from 6 p.m. Sunday through 6 p.m. Monday. Wind gusts may reach more than 45 mph.
