Weather Authority: Tracking potential nor'easter for next week

St. Patrick's Day weekend is expected to remain sunny, with highs in the upper 40s and low 50s. The bigger weather headline, however, is a potential nor'easter that forecasters are tracking for next week.

FOX 29's Scott Williams highlights a significant level of uncertainty as to which scenario will play out for this storm.

Scenario one shows the region experiencing milder air with rain and snow north and west. Scenario two opts for colder air with wet snow south and east. Scenario three would present a glancing blow to the region as the storm moves further south.

In a worst case scenario, the region would experience periods of rain, along with gusty winds and power outages Tuesday through Thursday. Accumulating wet snow and coastal flooding erosion could also be on the table in this case.
