Weather Authority: Warm and humid Wednesday with spotty showers

The Philadelphia area is slated for a partly cloudy Wednesday with the potential for a stray shower or thunderstorm.

Skies will gradually clear today. Highs are expected to remain in the low- to mid-80s by the afternoon.

Thursday will prove less humid. The weekend, similarly, looks like it will be a "perfect 10," according to FOX 29's Scott Williams.

Another heat wave is expected by early next week.
