Wet week continues Friday with heaviest rainfall
PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - If you haven't noticed yet, the rainy week will continue on and off throughout Friday.
The heaviest of the rain is expected to fall in the earlier a.m. hours, causing flooding and ponding for the morning commute.
Friday is expected to be the worst of this recent string of rainy days, thanks to the system picking up moisture off the coast.
The rain isn't quite ready to take the weekend off, as showers are expected to make an appearance both Saturday and Sunday, though temperatures will climb into the mid-60s and low 70s.
Friday's high is 64 degrees.
Use caution when traveling today with the wet conditions and possibility of coastal flooding.
