Winter Storm Watch issued ahead of midweek storm

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for a midweek storm that will bring accumulating snow, sleet and rain.

The Winter Storm Watch goes into effect Wednesday at 6 a.m.

Snow will creep in late morning and transition to rain during the evening rush hour. It should continue to rain into Thursday morning.

The area is expected to dry out Thursday afternoon through Saturday morning.
