Winter Weather Advisories go into effect
Fox 29 live weather update.
PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) Commuters could face a snowy ride to work in parts of the area Friday morning.
Snow is expected to move into the region late Thursday night and continue through Friday morning. Accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are possible, but mainly on grassy surfaces and car tops.
Temperatures will hover around freezing for most of the morning, causing snow to stick on non-paved surfaces and causing slick and slushy roadways.
Snow will melt quickly due to the March sun angle and temps will be marginal for most of the event a few degrees above freezing. Snow is out of here by midday and PM Sun is likely.
