22-year-old shot in the head in Carroll Park

CARROLL PARK (WTXF) - A man is in critical condition after being shot in the head in Carroll Park late Sunday night.

The incident occurred in the area of 53 rd and Master Streets around 10:30 p.m.

A 22-year-old was found shot in the head at the scene. Police rushed him to Penn Presbyterian Hospital where he is now in critical condition.

Police believe the motive for the shooting was robbery, but it's not clear if anything was taken at this time.

The suspect is still at large.
