3 suspects sought in violent beating inside South Philadelphia deli

Philadelphia Police are searching for group of suspects police say were caught on tape violently assaulting another person inside a South Philadelphia Deli.

The incident was captured on video back on October 29, inside the La Lai Deli on the 2000 block of South 23rd Street around 7:30 p.m.

Police say surveillance video shows a female suspect exchanging words with the victim inside the store, before the suspect heads outside to call her 'back up.' Video then shows two men entering the store alongside the female suspect and attacking the victim, knocking them to the ground.

While the victim was on the ground, one of the male suspects stomped on the victim's head, while the other male suspect pistol-whipped the victim. All three suspects then fled the area in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information regarding the suspects or the victim is asked to contact police.
