89-year-old man missing for days found safe, in Alabama

UPPER CHICHESTER, Pa. (WTXF) - The elderly Delaware County man who'd been missing since Saturday has been found - all the way in Alabama.

FOX 29's Jennifer Joyce reports she heard from Joseph Tarbutton's family, early Monday, and they're relieved he's safe.

Tarbutton, 89, told them he got lost while driving to Acme in Upper Chichester. His family had said he suffers from mild dementia.

Monday morning, he walked into a restaurant in Alabama to get breakfast.

Now, his family is working to get him back home.
