Artist paints canvas while singing national anthem during hockey game

(WTXF) - If you're a sports fan, you've probably seen many different renditions of the Star-Spangled Banner, whether you're watching at home, or from the stands.

But you've probably never seen one quite like this.

It happened before an ECHL game this weekend, according to FOX Sports.

The Toledo Walleye invited artist Joe Everson to perform the national anthem before a home game on Saturday.

Everson didn't just perform the anthem the standard way; he added his own personal flair.

He accompanied his vocal performance with a live canvas painting session that captivated the crowd.

Simply amazing.
