Baltimore Amtrak worker adopts rescued dog
Baltimore (WTXF) An Amtrak employee that rescued a dog from the tracks a month ago is now bringing that very dog home.
Miracle Molly, as she is now known, was rescued by Amtrak worker Kevin McMullen. About two weeks ago, McMullen was called to the west Baltimore tunnel to remove a dog from the tracks. McMullen states that when he was about to lift Molly, he noticed a lot of blood on the ground where her leg was.
Lucky for Molly, emergency medical care was arranged by the Baltimore Animal Rescue Care Shelter about two weeks later. Molly is doing great now, and everything healed perfectly.
McCullen, who already owned three dogs, was quick to apply to adopt Molly once she was all well and even had a pink leash waiting for her when she came home.
