Brothers play prank on dad to wear costumes to school

Two brothers conspired to play a funny prank on their dad, tricking him into believing it was fancy dress day at school.

The Huffington Post reports that 6-year-old Harrison and 5-year-old Reuben managed to convince their dad Geraint Goodridge that they were permitted to wear their Transformer and Woody outfits to school.

According to the media outlet, Goodridge picked his sons up from their mom's house on July 7.

The boys then told their dad that the dress-up day at their school was to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's birthday.

The two made it all the way to school before Goodridge figured out that it was all a prank.

"We got to the school and I said to the teacher: 'It is fancy dress, isn't it?' and she said no and then just burst out laughing," Goodridge told Wales Online.

"They got to stay in their outfits all day."

According to the Huffington Post, Goodridge says his kids frequently prank him, but says this prank was the best one yet.

Goodridge's original tweet was like more than 250 times and retweeted more than 130 times within two days of being posted.
