Camp counselor at NJ Jewish Community Center accused of child sex abuse
CHERRY HILL, N.J. (WTXF) - Police in South Jersey are investigating allegations of sexual abuse involving a camp counselor at a Jewish Community Center.
The Betty and Milton Katz Jewish Community Center in Cherry Hill released a statement confirming an investigation involving a minor who worked at the early childhood camps.
He's since been fired.
An email went out to parents Monday night, followed by a meeting with them Tuesday afternoon.
The JCC says it is fully cooperating with police and is committed to the safety and security of its children.
