Canadian church sign goes viral

CANADA (STORYFUL) - A picture which appears to show the sign outside St. Mark's Anglican Church in the city of St John's in Canada, went viral on Imgur after being posted on December 6.

The sign in the image reads: "Christmas: A story about a Middle East family seeing refugee," and serves as an apt holiday season reminder, considering the current migrant crisis in Europe and elsewhere.

A tweet from the St. Mark's Twitter account on December 3 read: "Remember, Jesus was a refugee too," with a link to a Facebook page.

The December 6 Imgur post had more than 2 million views after 17 hours online.
