Cheating Website Ashley Madison Hacked, Users Threatened With Exposure

(FOX 11) Millions of cheating spouses may soon be caught by their husbands and wives.

Hackers are threatening to release information about more than 37 million people who use Ashley Madison, a dating website for cheating spouses.

The hackers, known as The Impact Team, have warned that they will release the names, nude photos and sexual fantasies of Ashley Madison users unless the website is shut down.

Avid Life Media, which owns Ashley Madison, confirmed the security breach.

"We apologize for this unprovoked and criminal intrusion into our customers' information," Avid Life said.

Hackers also want Avid Life to shut down Established Men, the company's site for "sugar daddies."
