Delaware County man arrested for child porn possession

HAVERTOWN, Pa. (WTXF) - A 23-year-old from Havertown is under arrest.

District Attorney Jack Whelan announced Robert James Parker is charged with child pornography possession, sexual abuse of children and criminal use of a communications facility, which are all felonies of the third degree.

The DA's office said its Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigated and executed a search warrant of Parker's apartment.

There, they reportedly found more than 50 images and three videos of child pornography that depicted children under 12 years of age engaged in sexual positions and acts including bondage.

Parker was remanded to the Delaware County prison after failing to post $10,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is set for Thursday.
