Driver killed after SUV crashes into utility pole in Camden

CAMDEN, N.J. (WTXF) - A section of Admiral Wilson Boulevard is shut down after a driver crashed into a utility pole Saturday morning.

The striking vehicle brought down live wires around 4 a.m., resulting in the death of the driver.

A pickup truck going in the opposite direction also suffered minor damage as a result of the crash. No injuries to the driver have been reported.

The boulevard remains closed eastbound and westbound as crews work to clear the scene.
