Eagles playoffs: Thousands gather for drone show ahead of NFC Championship game

If there’s one thing about Philadelphia, we know how to celebrate our beloved football team.

All eyes were on the sky Saturday night watching a drone show lighting up the night over the Philly Museum of Art.

The energy was electric as thousands gathered to see the drone show at the art museum and a choir of "Go Birds!" broke out as the show began.

Eagles vs. Commanders: Philadelphia officials detail road closures, other preparations

Philadelphia officials are announcing plans for road closures, public transportation and parking restrictions ahead of Sunday's NFC Championship matchup with the Washington Commanders.

What they're saying:

"Seeing how they control these things is awesome," Harrison Tao remarked.

"When the Eagles are winning, the city is beautiful. When the Eagles are winning, it’s nothing like it," Lamont Williams said.

He continued, "I think we’re going to make it all the way to the Super Bowl. Actually, I’m going to the store to get some food for family and friends so we can enjoy."

Big picture view:

Eagles fans flocked to the art museum and bundled in their best Eagles gear with their eyes to the sky and cameras up. The immersive show featured images such as an eagle and even players. Fans also had a chance to win free tickets to Sunday’s game against the Commanders.

And, while excitement and anticipation is high, so is the anxiety. As one woman remarked, "I’m anxious. My heart rate was up to 156 last game! Please don’t do that to me tomorrow!"

Larry Trakes said, "As a long-time fan, I’m anxious. But, we have the team to do it."
