Eagles say QB Jalen Hurts 'good to go' for Sunday's NFC Championship game

PHILADELPHIA, PA - JANUARY 19: Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (1) waits for play to begin during the NFC Divisional Playoff game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Los Angeles Rams on January 19th, 2025 at Lincoln Financial Field in
PHILADELPHIA - In case there was any doubt, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts will play in Sunday's NFC Championship game against the Washington Commanders.
The Eagles on Friday said Hurts is "good to go," along with tight end Dallas Goedert. Center Cam Jurgens, however, remains questionable to play as he nurses a back injury.
Hurts appeared to tweak his knee while being sacked in the second half of the Eagles divisional round win against the Los Angeles Rams last week, calling into question his status for Sunday.
What we know:
Hurts' knee appeared to fold awkwardly as he was being dragged down by two Rams defenders in the third quarter of Sunday's win. Hurts remained in the game, but played with a brace on his left knee.
Hurts was mum about the injury after the game in an interview with NBC's Melissa Stark, telling her simply "I finished the game." He continued to be noncommittal to the media postgame, saying "I was able to finish the game, and we'll see how the week goes."
Hurts was a full participant in practice for the second straight day on Friday, according to the team. In the final injury report of the week, the Eagles said Hurts is "good to go."
Dallas Goedert, who missed practice on Thursday with a bum knee, was a full participant on Friday and will also play on Sunday.
Pro Bowl center Cam Jurgens is questionable to play in the NFC Championship game as he continues to nurse a back injury. Landon Dickerson continued to take reps at Center on Friday.
Wide receiver Britain Covey and Defensive Tackle Byron Young have been ruled out for Sunday.
What's next:
The Eagles and Commanders will square off for a chance to go to the Super Bowl at Lincoln Financial Field Sunday at 3 p.m. on FOX.
