Elderly Couple Missing From East Goshen Township Home

Police in Chester County are seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing elderly couple.

Dominic Jampo, 76, and his wife Barbara Jampo, 77, were reported missing from their home early Saturday morning.

The couple recently moved into the Bellingham Retirement Community in East Goshen Township.

Police say a family member spoke to the pair over the phone around 9:30 a.m. Friday morning, and the two had planned on going to the grocery store.

A spokesperson from the retirement community said that early Friday afternoon, the family of the couple informed employees at the community that the two had missed a planned family appointment after speaking with the family over the phone.

Though the couple had not yet failed to respond to the community's daily check-in planned for every evening at dinnertime, employees began to assist and support the family.

The retirement community is working closely with the East Goshen Township Police Department and the Jampos' family to help with the ongoing investigation.

The Jampo's should be in a silver 2007 Lexus RX350 with Pennsylvania license plate HDM-5216.

Dominic is diabetic and in need of medication, and the couple is believed to be traveling without a cell phone.

Anyone with information on the missing couple is urged to contact the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department at 610-692-5100.
