Families seek shelter after Camden row home fire

Several families are out of their homes after a fire ripped through row homes in Camden.

The fire began just after 8:30 a.m. March 25 on the 400 block of 5th Street.

Upon arrival, firefighters battled heavy smoke. The fire damaged three homes on the block.

One person and a bird were rescued from one of the homes on fire.

The person was transported to Cooper University Hospital. The condition of that person is unknown.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
