Funeral Arrangements Set for Former Police Commissioner Willie L. Williams

Funeral arrangements have been released for former Police Commissioner Willie L. Williams.

A public viewing will be held Friday, May 6th from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home on 2008 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19121.

Another viewing will be held Saturday, May 7th from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Zion Baptist Church on 3600 North Broad Street Philadelphia, PA 19140. A funeral service will be held immediately after at the church at 11 a.m.

Commissioner Williams became Philadelphia's first African American Police Commissioner when he was appointed to the position in 1988.
