Girl waiting for school bus hit by part of a truck

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, N.J. (WTXF) - A teenage girl in Gloucester County is recovering after she was hit by part of a truck while waiting for her school bus.

Franklin Township police say the driver of a Ford F350 utility truck hit the 14-year-old girl with his passenger side mirror.

It happened just before 7am on Tuckahoe Road, between Grant and Birch avenues.

The girl -- who attends Delsea High School - was taken to the hospital with minor injuries to her shoulder.
