Letters For Liam Put a Smile on Liam's Face

Earlier this month, we told you about Liam Cannon, a youngster who has autism. Last year, 11-year-old Liam loves getting mail and wanted cards for Christmas. So his father started a campaign called "Letters For Liam," and Liam received over 400 cards:

Tragically, Liam's father Cameron died suddenly just two days after Christmas last year. This year, Cameron's longtime friend Jay Green, owner of Jay's Steak and Hoagie Joint in Pendel in Bucks County, decided to step up and continue the tradition, in order to let Liam know that he is loved on his first Christmas without his father.

On Monday, the anniversary of Cameron's death, Jay posted a picture to Facebook of Liam with his gifts and cards, made possible by the Letters For Liam campaign.

" I want to say thank you to all of you who helped me put a smile on this boy's face. Today is the anniversary of his father's passing instead of crying and being sad he will be spending it reading and smiling. I ask you to please keep him in your prayers and on your card list for next year.":

Just left Liam in a sea of cards. I want to say thank you to all of you who helped me put a smile on this boy's face....
