Mableton grandmother gets second chance at sight

Betty Lord of Mableton has a new outlook on life. Nearly blind for the past 20 years has robbed her of so much. But with a new device called eSight, Betty was able to lay eyes on her children and grandchildren as wells as see her great grandchildren for the first time.

"I just can't tell you how much this means to me," Betty told her family.

The device is made by Toronto-based eSight Eyewear. It works well for certain impairments.

Betty Lord's family is raising the $15,000 cost of the electronic eyewear. An account has been set up in Betty's name.

Anyone who wishes to donate can do so at gofundme.com/BettyLord.
