Man, 43, shot and killed in North Philadelphia

The victim was transported to the hospital where he later died.

NORTH PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police are conducting a murder investigation in North Philadelphia.

The shooting occurred shortly after 9 p.m. Monday on the 2500 block of North Sydenham Street.

A 43-year-old man was taken to the hospital after he was shot twice in the chest. He later succumbed to his injuries.

No arrests have been made at this time and no weapon was recovered.
