Man, 59, killed in Holmesburg construction accident

HOLMESBURG (WTXF) - A 59-year-old man has died after officials say he was critically injured on a construction site.

Authorities say the victim was killed on a site on the 5100 block of Pennypack Street in Philadelphia's Holmesburg section.

Police say Barry Jones, of Upper Darby, was run over by a bulldozer in the construction site and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident occurred in the rear of the site.

The investigation is ongoing.
