Man Accused of Filming Children at Dorney Park, Charged with Child Pornography

A Montgomery County man has been indicted on federal child pornography charges, as authorities allege that he recorded children changing clothes at Allentown's Dorney Park.

Kurt Eichert, 51, of Wyndmoor, has been charged with one count of production of child pornography, two counts of distribution of child pornography, and one count of possession of child pornography, as well as distributing child pornography and possessing images of child pornography.

The charges were announced by United States Attorney Zane David Memeger, who alleges that Eichert produced the child pornography between 2005 and 2015.

In the event of a conviction Eichert faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison with a maximum possible sentence of 80 years.

According to an Allentown Morning Call article at the time, a Kurt Eichert was convicted in 1997 of taping teenage boys and young men in a changing room at Wildwater Kingdom- and received only a fine and probation.
