Man escapes from halfway house in Berks County

READING CITY, PA (WTXF) - Pennsylvania State Police are searching for a man who escaped from a halfway house in Berks County.

The incident occurred Monday between 12:07 a.m. and 12:13 a.m. on the 400 block of Walnut Street in Reading City.

According to a public information release report, 25-year-old David Allen Spurlin Jr. escaped from an ADDAPT facility and fled in an unknown direction.

Spurlin is described as a white male, 5'6", 185 pounds, with brown eyes, a bald head, and a medium build.
