Man in critical condition after shooting on Torresdale Avenue

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police in Northeast Philadelphia are investigating a shooting that left a man in critical condition.

Police were called to the 5500 block of Torresdale Avenue just after 5:15 Sunday afternoon on the report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, police found a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head.

The victim was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital where he was listed in critical condition.

Police say the investigation is active. No arrests have been made.
