Man Injured in Chester Shooting

A shooting in Chester on Monday evening has left a man critically injured. The incident occurred in the area of 9 th and Concord Avenue.

Chester Police responded to the scene of a shooting with a victim struck and down. When they arrived, they discovered a 27-year-old male from West Chester lying face down and suffering from gunshot wounds to the back of the head. According to authorities, the victim is on life support.

A four-door gray pick-up truck was taken from the scene.

The motive for the shooting is currently under investigation. The victim's name has not yet been released to the public.
