Man killed after being struck by vehicle in Somerton

SOMERTON (WTXF) - A man was killed after being struck by a car in Somerton.

According to officials, the incident occurred along Byberry and Proctor streets around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

A man was walking in that area when he was struck by a car.

He was then transported to Aria Torresdale where he was pronounced.

The striking car remained on the scene. The accident is under investigation.
