Man shot, critically wounded in FDR park shooting

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WTXF) - Authorities say a man who was selling sneakers in a Philadelphia park was shot multiple times during an apparent robbery.

The shooting occurred around 10:15 a.m. Sunday in FDR Park in Philadelphia. The 34-year-old victim was shot in the face, chest, and hand and remained hospitalized Monday in critical condition.

Authorities say it appears that two people tried to rob the victim, whose name was not released. It wasn't clear if the suspects took and money or shoes from the victim.
