Man shot in head, neck over weekend dies from wounds

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - The man found lying on a North Philadelphia sidewalk, bleeding from his head and back, has now died.

Police said they got a call about a shooting in the 600 block of N. 12th Street at about 5pm Saturday.

That's where they found 25-year-old Leonard Boyer III, from the neighborhood.

Boyer was in critical condition with two gunshot wounds in his head and one in his back, and died later that night.

Police say nobody has been arrested for the deadly shooting and they have not yet determined a motive.
