Man sought in connection with assault in Frankford, police say

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WTXF) - Philadelphia police are seeking a man in connection with an assault in Frankford.

According to police, the woman was approached from behind on July 12, 2016, at about 12:30 a.m. The man was reportedly riding a blue and black mountain bike. Investigators say he grabbed the woman and choked her until she was unconscious.

After the woman regained consciousness, she realized she was not wearing clothes. She was at the rear of a property on Jasper Street, authorities say.

The woman was transported to Temple Hospital where she was treated for head and facial injuries. Investigators say she was listed in stable condition.
