McDonald's Worker Helps Disabled Man to Eat His Food

A photo of a McDonald's worker feeding a disabled, elderly man in downtown Chicago has gone viral since it was posted on September 17.

Cashier, Kenny's, compassion made a huge impact on Destiny Carreno, a woman standing in line.

After witnessing this act of kindness, Carreno created a Facebook post of the photo and a description of how the elderly man in a wheelchair ordered food and requested to the cashier, "Help me please." Carreno explained how the cashier shut down his register during rush hour, cut the man's food into smaller bites and helped him eat.

Seeing this today brought tears to my eyes! Compassion has NOT gone out of style.Today I made a quick stop at McDonald...

"This employee, who put everything on hold for this man, went above and beyond his responsibilities--that was the kindest and most humble thing I had ever seen," wrote Carreno.
