Meek Mill appeal hearing set for April

A court date has been set for Meek Mill. He will be back in court on Monday, April 16, for an opportunity to overturn his conviction.

PhillyVoice.com reports that the same judge who sentenced Mill to prison time has now set a post-conviction hearing for Mill's lawyers to file an appeal to overturn his conviction.

Philly.com reports that Mill's lawyers are urging Judge Genece Brinkley to overturn the conviction based on contradictions between sworn testimony and the account of the arresting officer.
