Murder victim shot 14 times

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police are investigating the case of a 22-year-old man, shot more than a dozen times, in Fairhill overnight.

Officers say the victim was shot 14 times: five times in the head and nine times in the torso.

It happened on the 2900 block of N. Mascher Street near Cambria at about 1:30am.

Police said it looked like the victim had been bringing food from McDonald's to a child.

A neighbor drove him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police are looking for a motive and also the killer.
