National Pancake Day: IHOP offering free pancakes

OLD CITY (WTXF) - IHOP is celebrating the 11 th Annual National Pancake day Tuesday March 8 th !

Restaurants nationwide are offering a free short stack of pancakes to customers, as part of their effort to raise $3.5 million for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and other local charities including Children's Miracle Network hospitals.

The special deal runs from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.

While the pancakes are free, diners are invited to make a voluntary donation to one of the participating charities.

Since 2006, IHOP National Pancake Day has raised approximately $15 million to provide life-saving treatment, programs and medical equipment for child patients.
