Newborn, mother, grandmother share same birthday

CHICAGO - February 6 is a very important day for one Chicago family with three birthdays being celebrated on that day.

Tuesday, Kyrsten Moreno gave birth to her son on her own birthday, which she also shares with her mother. Now, the grandmother, mother, and grandson all share the same special day.

Their story quickly spread, causing quite a stir in the hospital.

"They brought us cake, sang us happy birthday, all three of us," Moreno said.

The odds of a triple birthday like this happening are one in 48 million.

"It's definitely got to be on purpose in somebody's cards," Moreno said. "This is nuts."

Moreno's mother, Nadine Hugmeyer, said she doesn't think it's a coincidence.

"I think it was meant to be," Hugmeyer said.
