Newborn triplets head home after their mom died following a blood clot

(INSIDE EDITION) - Kansas mom Cassia Rott passed away unexpectedly after giving birth to triplets.

Piper, Levi, and Asher were born on the same week that their mother died.

Rott's husband Joey says a blood clot formed in her lungs just days after getting to hold her newborns for the first time.

Strangers from across the country are now reaching out their hands into the nursery to help to help the family of six deal with life and death.

On Rott's GoFundMe page, more than $63,000 has been donated to help Joey raise his five children.
