Owls evict hawk from San Francisco nest
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (FOX 13) - A live streaming camera captured an aerial battle in San Francisco.
A pair of great horn owls engaged in a battle with a red-tailed hawk. The talons came out when the hawk returned to the nest it had previously called home.
The owls had taken up residence and laid two eggs before the previous owner returned. The red-tailed hawk initially retreated, but returned with a "fly by."
It managed to take back ownership of the nest.
