Parents receive letter calling them 'selfish' for raising their children in 'tiny' apartment

(STORYFUL) - Kelly and Mike Brüning had a letter sent to them earlier this week calling them as "selfish parents" for living in a "tiny one bedroom upstairs apartment" with their two young sons.

The sender of the letter said young children need a yard and more space to play in when they want to, "not just when it's convenient to you."

The Brünings shared a photo of the letter on Facebook, saying, "Sometimes harassment comes in simple forms."

The now-viral photo triggered an outpouring of support for the parents as people shared their frustrations and questioned who would send such a letter.

In a follow-up post, the Brünings thanked people for their support, saying, "You sure know how to make us feel loved."
