The Shapiro Administration is offering to support those impacted with a new multi-agency resource center.
What we know:
The Shapiro Administration will open a Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) in effort to assist people and businesses affected by the tragic plane crash.
The MARC will be located at the Scattergood Building of Friends Hospital at 4641 Roosevelt Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19124.
The center will be open Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
In addition to the City of Philadelphia, the following state agencies are also scheduled to participate:
- PA Department of Health
- PA Department of Human Services

"Some of the resources provided by organizations staffing the MARC include information on vital documents, such as birth certificates and driver’s licenses, checking insurance coverage for damages, trauma/crisis response and mental health resources, benefits and disabilities support, tax assistance, how to avoid scams, and recovery information," according to the Shapiro Adminstration.
The City of Philadelphia also held a public town hall meeting at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday to discuss steps forward after the crash.
What they're saying:
"The tragic plane crash caused significant damage along Cottman Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia, leaving many residents and businesses with questions on how to recover," said PEMA Director Randy Padfield. "This MARC will bring multiple agencies and organizations to one location to help survivors navigate access to the resources they need to begin returning their lives and community back to normal."
