Pig escapes trailer while on way to auction

Near FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - An unusual sight had drivers doing a double-take on a Seattle-area highway.

The reason is that large pig on the side of the highway.

It was hanging out on Interstate 5 near Federal Way, Saturday.

Washington state patrol troopers say the pig was on its way to being auctioned when it leaped out of the trailer and started walking alongside the highway.

The pig even took some time to munch on grass and watch cars go by.

It spent time hanging out near the highway until authorities figured out how to catch it.
