Police: 3 stabbed in Wilmington; suspect in custody

WILMINGTON, Del. (WTXF) - Police are investigating after at least three people were stabbed in Wilmington, Del. early Monday morning.

Just before 5 a.m., officers responded to the 800 block of West 8th Street, where they found three victims suffering from stab wounds: a 26-year-old man, a 24-year-old woman and 49-year-old woman.

All three victims were transported to the hospital and are listed in stable condition.

The suspect, a 52-year-old man who police say is in custody, sustained a laceration to his stomach and is listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
