Police: Bucks County man who choked, stabbed wife charged with attempted homicide

Police in Falls Township, Pa rescued a woman from her husband after the man allegedly beat, stabbed and choked his wife on Thursday afternoon.

After receiving a distress call from a neighbor, deputies arrived to the 200 block of South Olds Boulevard and found 22-year-old Bao Thien Le choking his 22-year-old wife.

Officers removed Le from the victim. The woman, whose injuries are not life threatening, received medical treatment shortly after police arrived.

Police say an evaluation of the victim showed several stab wounds to the head and torso. Officials allege that Le stabbed the woman with a screwdriver.

Le faces multiple charges including attempted homicide and aggravated assault.
