Police: Driver slams into Filmore, DUI suspected

FISHTOWN (WTXF) - Police say a driver suspected of being under the influence crashed into the Filmore just before 2:00 a.m. Thursday.

The driver was taken to the hospital; however crews on the scene say he was not injured.

Detectives say they are looking into possible DUI charges.

There is no estimate to how much damage was done to the Fishtown music venue.

The investigation is ongoing.
